2010 Presidents Message:    On behalf of the Board at AEL I would like to thank all those who helped organize, participated in and attended our Trade expo.  The 16th annual Electrical Learning EXPO for 2010 was held in Calgary, Alberta at the Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre, March 25th, 2010.

The Alberta Electric League is a unique organization whose membership is open to companies and practitioners from every facet of the Electrical Industry in the province of Alberta.

We provide a forum under which everyone involved in the industry can meet as equals.
Our membership has the following segments involved;
Utilities, Engineers, Maintenance Electricians, Electrical  Inspectors, Energy Retailers, Students, Manufacturers, Colleges & Universities, Electrical  Contractors, Electrical  Distribution, Manufacturing Agents and Industry Associations.

The purpose of the AEL is to promote the entire Electrical Industry, identify and implement promotions to raise the public profile of the Industry, and explore ways and means to develop and market new and existing business opportunities for all members.

This is achieved through using the promotional strength and capabilities of the whole Electrical Industry in activities such as hosting trade expositions, seminars, marketing and educational programs, breakfast meetings and promotions throughout the Province of Alberta.

We would like to work with and coordinate with the many Industry Associations in Alberta to make us the best place in Canada to be a part of the Electrical Industry.
