The CEC is open to everyone in the industry: electricians, contractors, engineers, manufacturers, distributors, manufacturers representatives, utility, inspectors, and so on. We encourage younger members of our industry to join as the CEC is a great way to network and meet people.
Your CEC membership enables you to receive discounts at all of our events throughout the year, and contributes greatly to our scholarships at SAIT, Red Deer College, U of C, and the NEW $1500 members only Scholarship. We currently have the following bursaries set up, and this year the CEC has increased the donations and would like to do so every year with your support. Current Bursarys are, U of C Electrical Engineering, SAIT Electrical Technician and SAIT 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice, Red Deer 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice, and $1500 Members only Scholarship open to all post secondary schooling.

2009 Bursary and Scholarship Winners

Congratulations to Steven McNeil 2nd year Electrical Engineering Technology student at SAIT has been chosen for the $1000 Bursary. Brent Legate a 4th year Electrical Engineering student at the University of Calgary was also awarded a $1000 Bursary. Natasha Wood received the CEC members only $1500 Scholarship.  $750 Red Deer College Bursary was awarded to David Lundeen.  Supporting CEC events makes this bursary possible.
